Event Co-Chairs

Marsha is president and founder of M-Squared Public Relations.  When she’s not opening up the next luxe hotel, retailer or restaurant, she’s supporting her other passion of giving back. She has a rich history with non-profits including Habitat for Humanity International, Meals On Wheels Atlanta and the Carrie Steele Pitts Home, the first African-American orphanage in the United States. She also served as Event Co-Chair for Jeffey Fashion Cares in 2019. Named a 'Woman of Style,' by Modern Luxury’s The Atlantan, and a 'Power Player’ by Upscale magazine, Archer is also a committed mother and wife who is determined to grow the impact of Fashion Statement alongside her fellow co-chairs and with the help of sponsors and attendees.

E. Vincent Martinez is a Cuban-born, Atlanta- based mixed-media artist. After college, he spent two years on a student fellowship at the Penland School of Craft in North Carolina studying photography and later earned an MFA in the Imaging Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). In 2001, he completed the Masters in Art Education program at Georgia State University to gain his teaching certification.

Martinez is the creative behind fashionado.net, a fashion and lifestyle digital publication and also, the pet-based organization, Doggies on the Catwalk, DOTC Foundation. He was an educator on the high school and college levels and in 2020, he joined the Board of Trustees at Penland School of Craft. Under Fashionado, Martinez produces EVM Films and the popular FashionadoTV channel. Martinez just completed his second feature-length documentary film.

Louise served as Co-Chair for Jeffrey Fashion Cares for eleven years. She has been a longtime supporter and has also co-chaired the Host Committee. Until October of 2019, Sams was executive vice president and general counsel for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. She has a rich history of community involvement, chairs the board of trustees of Princeton University, and serves on the boards of the High Museum of Art, the Woodruff Arts Center and Meals on Wheels Atlanta.

Maken Payne, executive director of partnerships, drives collaborations, specifically, those which enhances the global reputation, reach, and impact of SCAD. She has spearheaded partnerships with some of the world’s most influential organizations and institutions – hosting high-profile events and programs that showcase the excellence and innovation of the university. Renowned for her high aesthetic intelligence and ability to find creative solutions, Maken's influence extends beyond the boardroom and into the world of design. As Co-chair of Fashion Statement for 2024, Maken continues to bring her unique blend of strategic acumen and creative flair to the forefront of her industry.
